Keep in mind that bikes with disc brakes provide better-stopping power compared to the traditional rim brakes. This may not be a problem for those who live in hot and dry climates. 

But for those who live in rainy conditions or a place with lots of hills, this will definitely come in handy.

One of the main reasons why e-bikes are gaining in popularity is due to their battery and motor. This allows an average commuter to go long distances without feeling tired at all.
